What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of backend services within a cross-functional domain team.
• Design and implement REST APIs on AWS infrastructure.
• Develop high-traffic, real-time, geo-located online applications.
• Monitor and optimize production backend services for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to ship high-quality features.
• Integrate advanced technologies, including AI tools and copilots, into the development workflow.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, microservice architectures, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure.
• English: Fluent proficiency in spoken and written communication.
• Must be authorized to work in Germany or willing to undergo visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agentic tools or LLM integrations.
• Background in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
