What you will do

• Implement and maintain network-based cybersecurity solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure access platforms.
• Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through penetration tests and security assessments.
• Upgrade network device firmware and software to ensure ongoing security and stability.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Cybersecurity teams to align controls with enterprise standards.
• Review network configurations and policies to proactively reduce risk and improve the security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and security concepts (segmentation, access control).
• Proven experience in network security engineering or a cybersecurity role focused on network infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple remediation efforts and prioritize tasks based on risk.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing network security hardware/software.

Nice to have

• CCNP certification or equivalent professional credentials.
• 5+ years of experience in network or network security engineering.
• Familiarity with industry security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
