What you will do

• Assist in monitoring security alerts using SIEM, EDR, and email security tools.
• Support incident detection and conduct basic investigations.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and track remediation efforts.
• Help review and document security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist in phishing simulations and security awareness programs.
• Maintain security documentation, dashboards, and reports.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls) and security principles.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality awareness.

Nice to have

• Basic scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security concepts.
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
• Understanding of offensive security fundamentals and vulnerability scanning tools.
