What you will do

• Oversee and coordinate technical resources to drive large-scale internal and external infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using Python, Go, or similar languages to manage production environments.
• Lead architecture recommendations and problem management for distributed systems.
• Manage deployment and operations of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and virtualization services (OpenStack, VMware).
• Maintain Linux infrastructure for thousands of bare metal and virtual machines.
• Report project status to leadership and facilitate regular team synchronization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience in a production environment.
• Expertise in Linux administration and Bare Metal Orchestration (e.g., OpenStack, MaaS).
• Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and capable of 2-3 business trips per year.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network protocols (DNS, HTTP, OSI model).
• Experience with block storage solutions like TrueNAS or Ceph.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• Background in threat intelligence or mobile technology.
