What you will do
- Assess and document risks and controls for new offerings and initiatives, building relationships with stakeholders.
- Drive risk and control assessments, documenting process narratives and control definitions.
- Conduct and participate in walkthroughs and testing to determine control effectiveness and identify gaps.
- Develop dashboards for daily control monitoring to ensure compliance with risk policies.
- Drive remediation efforts, create and track action plans, and support the timely resolution of issues.
- Lead and shape functional strategy with proactive strategic initiative development leveraging AI.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant business experience in Risk, Finance, Compliance, Audit, or related areas within fintech, payment processing, lending, or online banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proficient experience with R, Python, advanced SQL skills, and visualization tools like Quicksight or Tableau.
- Proficient experience with AI.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to lead and prioritize multiple workstreams.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus.

- Experience in Fintech with a focus on risk and controls from a money movement perspective.
