What you will do

• Lead the execution and documentation of the SOX compliance program including planning and testing.
• Design and perform reviews of internal controls over critical processes like Record to Report and Procure to Pay.
• Provide guidance to control owners on evidence requirements and control design.
• Facilitate process walkthroughs to identify risk gaps and efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate with external auditors to drive timely remediation of control deficiencies.
• Evaluate impacts of new system implementations on the internal control environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance, or Internal Controls.
• Prior experience in public accounting or internal audit roles.
• Deep knowledge of SOX, internal auditing standards, GAAP, and COSO.
• Proficiency with financial systems like Netsuite or similar GRC platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA.
• Experience working in the SaaS, Fintech, or technology sectors.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows and streamline execution.
