What you will do

• Implement and maintain frontend experiences using React and GraphQL.
• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure backend services, including detailed system design, low-level design, API design, and data modeling to support high-traffic travel applications.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex features and services across the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate business and customer needs into robust technical solutions.
• Improve service reliability, availability, and performance through data‑driven analysis, observability, instrumentation, and continuous operational excellence practices.
• Apply engineering best practices and mentoring other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience building and operating software services.
• Several years of professional experience designing, developing, and supporting production-grade backend or full‑stack services.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and related backend frameworks, with hands‑on experience in system design, RESTful or RPC API design, and data modeling for relational or NoSQL datastores.
• Experience owning services in production environments, including monitoring, logging, incident investigation, and collaborating with others to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

• Experience designing and evolving distributed systems and service architectures that operate at scale.
• Proven track record driving technical improvements such as performance tuning, resilience patterns, cost optimization, and security hardening based on metrics and data‑driven insights.
• Hands‑on experience with advanced observability, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership within a team or domain.
• Experience safely integrating and operating AI/ML‑enabled functionality in services or workflows.
