Salary: $112,710.00 - $183,140.00

What you will do

• Work on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution.
• Perform testing, project management, and quality assurance assignments.
• Identify gaps in system test using your understanding of systems, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Perform validation activities of new and existing defects within software products.
• Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software.
• Identify high impact issues, drive them to resolution, perform root cause analysis, and assist leadership to make the right decision through data and quantitative decision making.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle.
• This position requires the candidate to be based in either Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL

Nice to have

• Typically have 7+ years of experience in software test and/or software development
• Demonstrated experience working on large complex programs and leading high priority deliverables
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Quality Assurance and Quality Control methodologies.
• Leadership and/or project management experience in cross-functional high-paced environment.
• Knowledge of AWS, SQL, ADO, Power BI, and Excel
