Resident Solutions Architect

Resident Solutions Architect (Data): Working with clients on impactful data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects using the hirify.global platform with an accent on integrating with client systems and providing excellent customer service. Focus on designing and building reference architectures, creating how-to's, and productionalizing customer use cases to help customers get the most value from their data.

Location: Dallas, Texas. Travel to customers 20% of the time.

Salary: $180,656—$248,360 USD

What you will do

• Work on impactful customer technical projects, designing and building reference architectures and creating how-to's.
• Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects and migrations.
• Consult on architecture and design to promote successful customer adoption of hirify.global.
• Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
• Work with the hirify.global technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure the technical components are delivered to meet customer's needs.
• Provide product and implementation feedback to Engineering and hirify.global Customer Support for rapid issue resolution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
• Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
