What you will do

  • Decompose complex projects into manageable technical tasks and deliver them across multiple phases.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams to define technical constraints and project requirements.
  • Support system operations by monitoring metrics, maintaining availability, and participating in on-call rotations.
  • Navigate large-scale codebases to debug issues, provide code reviews, and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Engage in team development activities, including participating in the interview process to grow the engineering community.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin for backend system development.
  • Experience with building blocks of distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Must be based in the UK to fulfill role requirements.
