Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Own and operate edge security and content delivery platforms from design to run.
• Manage and configure WAF and CDN services across global domains.
• Improve platform performance, security, and automation practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide secure, scalable platform capabilities.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.
• Perform incident analysis and ensure strong observability and documentation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ukraine
• Deep understanding of web protocols, HTTP lifecycle, DNS, certificates, and caching.
• Hands-on experience securing systems in AWS including CloudFront, Lambda, EKS, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with CDN/WAF platforms like Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Scripting and automation skills using Python.

Nice to have

• Front-end fundamentals.
• Experience with LLM-based automation.
• Familiarity with security standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, or NIST.
