Security Engineer (GCP/Cloud Security): Build and operate cloud security controls and infrastructure for a modern cloud-native banking platform with an accent on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes security. Location: Hybrid work model with at least one day on site per week in Gdynia, Warsaw, Krakow, or Rzeszow, Poland

Salary: 1200 - 1600 PLN per man-day net + VAT (B2B contract)

What you will do

• Implement and operate cloud security controls in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Configure and manage GCP IAM, service accounts, and access policies
• Secure Kubernetes/GKE workloads and implement network security controls including Cloud Armor (WAF)
• Integrate cloud logs with SIEM and deploy CSPM/CWPP solutions
• Support vulnerability management and container security
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement DevSecOps practices and participate in security architecture and threat modeling

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, IAM, networking, and Kubernetes security
• Knowledge of cloud logging, monitoring, SIEM integrations, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• English proficiency at least B2 level
• Work model requires presence in Poland with hybrid work from specified cities

Nice to have

• Experience with CSPM/CWPP tools like Palo Alto Cortex Cloud
• Experience with Cloud Armor and CI/CD integration (GitLab Ultimate)
• Experience in regulated environments such as finance or banking
• Experience with Forcepoint, TrendMicro, Rapid7
