What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to review designs and identify security risks early.
• Perform threat modeling for new features and major product changes.
• Identify and remediate common vulnerabilities such as injection, logic flaws, and auth issues.
• Conduct targeted manual security testing and validate high-risk areas.
• Contribute to security tooling and automation to improve coverage and developer workflows.
• Assist in product security incident investigations and impact analysis.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Product Security, Application Security, or software engineering with a security focus.
• Strong understanding of web application and API security fundamentals (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience performing threat modeling or secure architecture assessments.
• Familiarity with security testing tools like SAST, DAST, and fuzzing.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to communicate complex security risks pragmatically to cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Experience tuning security tools to reduce noise and improve signal.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and security champions programs.
• Experience with bug bounty programs or external researcher coordination.
