What you will do

• Build and scale a pragmatic Secure SDLC tailored for fast fintech product delivery.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and establish baseline controls for application, container, and infrastructure security.
• Partner with engineering leadership to influence security decisions balancing risk and delivery speed.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a security engineering team across DevSecOps, AppSec, and Cloud Security domains.
• Provide security architecture oversight and define security standards for applications, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Leverage automation and AI to replace manual security processes and measure impact.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London or able to work onsite in London.
• 8+ years in security engineering including 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience building Secure SDLC and DevSecOps in fast-moving environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS security and cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Practical experience with application security, Kubernetes/container security, and infrastructure-as-code security.
• Background in regulated industries such as fintech, payments, or financial services.
