Salary: $191,000–$225,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate core distributed storage services, including open-source NewSql databases on Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain frameworks for monitoring, service discovery, and database permissions.
• Create generalized data schematization solutions to simplify data management for internal engineering teams.
• Analyze and debug complex production systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-month infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States in a state where hirify.global has a registered entity.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building and operating large-scale backend distributed systems.
• Expertise in storage infrastructure, data ingestion, backup/restore, and streaming.
• Ability to own and dive deeply into complex, large-scale codebases.
• Experience in maintaining, analyzing, and debugging production-level services.
• Strong communication skills suitable for a collaborative, remote-working environment.
