What you will do

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of the AssetLink Shopify app, from initial architecture to production deployment.
• Write production code and define integration patterns for Shopify Admin, theme components, and automation.
• Collaborate with Shopify and strategic technology partners to align on product roadmaps and technical standards.
• Analyze feedback from enterprise merchants and agencies to prioritize and ship impactful product improvements.
• Ensure application reliability, observability, and scalability to support enterprise-grade usage.
• Lead technical discovery and design reviews, eventually helping to scale the ecosystem engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership with a focus on customer-facing roles.
• 7+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.
• Deep expertise in Shopify app development, including embedded apps, Admin UX patterns, and API/webhook design.
• Proven ability to build and maintain integrations that function reliably across diverse customer environments.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to turn external requirements into shippable code and architectural decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements for stakeholders and partners.
