What you will do

• Develop features integrating the data stream processing engine with systems like Splunk, Kafka, and cloud storage providers.
• Conduct research into third-party technologies to facilitate the R&D and integration process.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust code while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Create comprehensive test plans and automated integration tests to ensure feature reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate specifications into functional code.
• Participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript with an interest in working with Node internals.
• Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party applications, libraries, and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience building on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work through uncertainty in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with authentication standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SAML.
• Exposure to C++ development.
