Salary: $288,000 – $425,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Review leads and investigate malicious activities, focusing on violent and terrorist-related threats.
• Develop proactive abuse signals and tracking strategies to detect harmful behavior.
• Support an on-call rotation for rapid threat triaging and mitigation during urgent escalations.
• Identify operational workflow improvements to expedite risk mitigation.
• Communicate investigation findings to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with technical teams to refine data and tooling based on investigative insights.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in counterterrorism, threat actor assessment, or high-risk case investigation.
• Deep expertise in identifying and mitigating violent attacks and extremist behavior.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for conducting technical investigations.
• Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, ambiguous environments.
• Must be able to work PST hours and handle sensitive content, including violent or disturbing material.
• At least 2 years of experience developing automated approaches to investigative workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience presenting analytic work in public or policy settings.
• Fluency in a language other than English.
