What you will do
- Lead cross-team engineering initiatives and shape technical strategy with the architect.
- Design and build scalable, resilient, and secure AI-enhanced systems.
- Translate business strategy into high-quality technical implementation.
- Mentor, coach, and grow the engineering skills of team members.
- Balance technical debt with speed of delivery to meet customer needs.
- Foster engineering best practices and maintain high code quality.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of .NET and C#.
- Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and cross-team collaboration.
- Strong understanding of software design principles for building scalable and secure systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical decisions.
- Must be based in the UK with the ability to commute to the office on a weekly basis.
- Growth mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing other engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and agentic frameworks like Langchain or Semantic Kernel.
- Experience building AI features, including feedback loops and semantic search.
- Frontend development skills with TypeScript, React, or Material UI.
