What you will do
- Build and scale API services to support a rapidly growing European customer base.
- Advance financial models to support complex products such as structured notes, derivatives, and international alternative investments.
- Contribute to architecture designs, technical product roadmap, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support the expansion and growth of the Edinburgh engineering office.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment (no visa sponsorship provided).
- Degree in STEM field or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Prior experience building backend services in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java is required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment.
- Experience with agile methodologies and development best practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, AWS, or JavaScript.
- Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management.
