What you will do

• Embed quality practices within Agile product teams and implement QA strategy across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality goals.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to influence testability and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain automated E2E and API test suites, and improve test infrastructure and tooling.
• Lead exploratory testing of new and high-risk features to identify critical defects.
• Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA processes.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Belgrade, Serbia with hybrid work model
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Playwright and Go for API testing.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud), and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of software quality principles, testing methodologies, and SQL for debugging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Knowledge of distributed and concurrent systems, including transactions and race-condition risks.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as k6 and ability to analyze performance metrics.
