What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend solutions forming the foundation of the platform.
- Act as a technical leader, owning projects and guiding team decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product, data engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver impactful projects.
- Shape software architecture and contribute ideas in technical discussions.
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance in partnership with QA teams.
- Balance maintaining existing systems with developing new features to support growth.
Requirements
- Must be located in Poland and work remotely from there.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and production experience with NestJS backend development.
- Experience with large and complex databases, data models, and queries.
- Experience building asynchronous, event-driven microservices workflows.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken), able to collaborate with US time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS core services in microservice environments.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and analytics platforms.
