Senior Product Manager

TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (Analytics): Defining the roadmap for distribution analytics data products with an accent on data quality and operational excellence. Focus on building relationships with stakeholders and understanding streaming data pipelines.

Location: Hybrid (1 day per week) in London Broadcasting House, United Kingdom

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience

What you will do

• Define the roadmap for Distribution analytics data products.
• Champion data quality and operational excellence across all team systems.
• Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders across architecture, operations, and playback teams.
• Proactively seek out new use cases and user requirements.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders from public clouds and CDNs.

Requirements

• Experience delivering large scale operational analytics data products.
• Ability to work and lead in a technical domain, understanding streaming data pipelines.
• Experience using statistical methods to understand and derive meaning from large data sets.
• Prioritization skills balancing cost and performance against new features and requirements for a platform.
• Experience working with external vendors in the streaming media domain.

Nice to have

• Some hands-on experience with batch or streaming data pipelines and are keen to deepen your knowledge of tools like Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with using data querying tools, including SQL, to meet evolving user needs.
• Exposure to data visualization tools (such as Looker, Grafana, or PowerBI) is a plus.
