What you will do

• Lead research initiatives to deepen understanding of player experience across game development and live operations
• Design, execute, and present quantitative and qualitative research studies partnering with cross-functional teams
• Own end-to-end user experience research including design, moderation, analysis, and budget management
• Manage external research vendors ensuring cost-effective and timely results
• Collaborate with game development and strategy teams on research results and KPIs
• Mentor team members and evolve research methods and best practices

Requirements

• Must be located in the US with ability to work remotely or hybrid in Culver City
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred in relevant fields
• 6+ years of research experience in gaming industry or research agency
• Strong foundation in mixed-method user experience research and passion for gaming
• Experience managing external research vendors and working with analytics tools
• Monthly travel to LA-based lab required for in-person research

Nice to have

• Experience with competitive or midcore live-service games
• Familiarity with online survey and remote testing platforms
• Experience with SPSS and SQL analytics tools
