What you will do

• Execute and optimize high-throughput protein characterization workflows across various modalities including antibodies and enzymes.
• Operate and maintain automated chromatography systems such as SEC, HIC, and affinity chromatography on HPLC platforms.
• Perform biophysical characterization using DLS, DSF, BLI/SPR, CE-SDS, cIEF, and related techniques.
• Support workflows for protein post-translational modification analysis ensuring accurate data capture.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and automation experts to improve efficiency and scalability of developability workflows.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and reproducibility; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Cambridge, MA, USA
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field with 2-5+ years industry or academic experience.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC techniques including SEC, HIC, and affinity purification.
• Familiarity with biophysical characterization methods such as DLS, DSF, BLI/SPR, CE-SDS, cIEF.
• Experience with liquid handling automation and high-throughput formats.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to innovate experimental design.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation and high-throughput screening technologies.
• Data analysis skills using Python, R, or similar software.
• Experience with protein post-translational modification analysis workflows.
