What you will do

• Lead test automation projects including preparation, creation, and execution of automated tests.
• Transition manual testing processes to automated testing frameworks.
• Identify and document test cases suitable for automation and oversee their execution during releases.
• Communicate risks early to team leaders, developers, and QA management.
• Track defect progress and collaborate with developers to ensure timely fixes.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada.
• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of QA experience with at least 4 years in test automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Postman/Newman, Selenium.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and monitoring test results.
• Strong understanding of QA roles in cloud and SaaS environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and leading quality efforts.

Nice to have

• Experience with API testing, Continuous Integration, and GitLab.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) domain.
