Quality Engineer

Salary: CAD 84,000–99,750 per year

What you will do

• Develop in-house automated and functional test scripts covering functional, system, API, integration, UI, and regression testing
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps, and QA teams to deploy and run automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Provide timely feedback on test results to relevant stakeholders
• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architectural decisions

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada (Ontario or Vancouver preferred)
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or Junit
• Proficiency in at least one of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
• Strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
