What you will do

• Define and lead automation strategy across UI, API, integration, performance, and security testing layers
• Architect scalable, reusable automation frameworks and integrate AI-assisted testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation
• Establish quality standards, coverage metrics, and observability practices
• Collaborate with software engineers, AI specialists, product teams, and quality engineers
• Mentor engineers and elevate automation maturity across teams

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada and able to work remotely
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or related disciplines
• Proven experience designing and leading automation strategies and scalable testing frameworks
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks and proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile Scrum teams

Nice to have

• Experience with medical imaging platforms or complex visualization systems
• Experience in regulated environments such as Clinical Trials, Healthcare, or Life Sciences
• Experience collaborating with AI/ML engineers in product development
