What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Architect solutions using AWS best practices across networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada with ability to work remotely.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering focused on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
