TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Developing customer-facing investment experiences with an accent on adopting cutting-edge technologies and ensuring robust production environments. Focus on leading the team in designing and delivering high-quality products, and fostering a DevOps mentality.

Location: Hybrid working model, minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office. Initial period will be full-time in the office.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (Depending on experience)

What you will do

• Guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products.
• Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to break down and refine these into development tasks.
• Foster a build it, run it, own it DevOps mentality, nurturing code from idea all the way to production.
• Develop innovative web and app-based tools and services for customers.

Requirements

• Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with Node, PHP, .NET core, MongoDB and/or SQL.
• Strong technical background in web development with React/NextJS/NestJs.
• Experience in developing HTTP-based APIs and implementation of RESTful services with JSON, as well as with GraphQL.
• Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and practices Test Driven Development.
• Familiarisation with containerisation and tools like Docker, ECS or Kubernetes.
• Experience of developing, deploying, and maintaining Cloud-Based solutions on AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience of Drupal CMS would be a bonus.
• Experience of working in financial services or a regulated industry would be a bonus.
