What you will do

• Advise DoD Components on CES recruitment and staffing procedural and regulatory requirements.
• Support CES stakeholders throughout staffing processes with tailored guidance.
• Review and verify CES personnel actions using automated HR tools in compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate requests for special salary rates, bonuses, and incentives.
• Develop and revise CES staffing policies and guidance documents.
• Coordinate workforce management initiatives and assist government leadership communications.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required
• PhD with 20 years or Master’s with 28 years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience in federal HR, recruitment, staffing, or workforce policy related to CES or similar systems
• Strong expertise in analyzing complex HR policies and automated HR tools

Nice to have

• 7+ years federal HR experience within DoD with deep CES knowledge
• Expertise in Title 5, Title 10, and DoD personnel policies
• Exceptional communication skills for representing DoD CIO positions
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and advanced MS Office skills
• Experience supporting IT or cyberspace activities in military or defense agencies
