Location: Must be based in Washington, D.C. (Onsite 5x per week)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end SOC operations to ensure unified service delivery across enterprise objectives.
• Provide strategic direction and coordination for subordinate managers and technical leads.
• Oversee the integration of security capabilities across hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Drive continuous improvement of detection, response, and recovery processes aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Communicate SOC performance, posture, and operational needs to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable tasks using deep cybersecurity domain expertise.

Requirements

• Must possess Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate certification on the first day.
• Must obtain CISSP or CISM within 150 days of start date.
• Must obtain GIAC Incident Response certification within 150 days of start date.
• 7+ years of experience in SOC management and incident response in large enterprise environments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Must work onsite 5 days a week in Washington, D.C.
