What you will do

• Build and evolve scalable frontend systems and user interfaces supporting growth initiatives.
• Lead development of frontend frameworks, libraries, and reusable UI components for experimentation and feature rollouts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Own complex frontend projects end-to-end, ensuring performance, accessibility, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to engineering culture growth through mentoring and best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Toronto office three days per week
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Experience building scalable, performant frontend systems in high-growth or startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of test-driven development, code reviews, CI/CD, and analytics instrumentation.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.

Nice to have

• Experience on growth-focused or experimentation-driven teams.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered frontend features and real-time data visualization.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics integrations, or experimentation platforms.
• Prior experience scaling frontend systems in rapidly growing startups.
