What you will do

• Produce written articles covering breaking news and trending sports stories
• Create short-form video content using hirify.global’s sports rights and footage
• Collaborate with global news teams across multiple sports
• Cover major domestic and international sporting events
• Run live blogs for major sporting moments and breaking stories
• Support sub-editing, homepage management, and social media editorial output

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in UK - Leeds with hybrid work arrangement
• Proven experience writing short-form and long-form sports articles
• Strong video editing skills and familiarity with image editing tools
• Interviewing experience and strong editorial judgement
• Understanding of SEO and article optimisation techniques
• Excellent knowledge of Boxing and Football
