Network Security Engineer

TL;DR

Network Security Engineer: Protecting enterprise infrastructure and enabling secure delivery of business services with an accent on vulnerability identification and remediation across on-prem and cloud environments. Focus on automation and continuous improvement of security operations, including network/security engineering skills and disciplined vulnerability management.

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States. Expect some level of in-office and/or in-person presence.

Salary: The target salary range for this position is 99,450 - 147,400 USD.

What you will do

• Operate core security and traffic-management platforms.
• Lead vulnerability identification and remediation across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of security operations.
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers.
• Enhance identity and privileged access controls focusing on least privilege and access governance.
• Support rapid response activities for security events.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Rapid7, Wiz).
• Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience managing F5 load balancers.
