Software Engineer Intern

Location: Hybrid work from Chicago HQ, 2-4 days per week

Salary: $40 per hour (approx. $6,400 for 12-week internship)

What you will do

• Gain broad knowledge of hirify.global's full technology stack including backend, frontend, and operations tools
• Utilize AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development
• Work closely with experienced engineers to build software engineering fundamentals
• Write tests to ensure reliable and efficient application development
• Collaborate with a small team to implement new ideas
• Work cross-functionally across the organization

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Chicago and able to work hybrid 2-4 days per week
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Entrepreneurial attitude with attention to detail
