What you will do

• Automate back office workflows using Power Automate, low-code solutions, APIs, and scripting
• Build dashboards and analytics in Power BI for operational and P&L data clarity
• Design and maintain data transformations using SQL, Python, and JSON
• Support traders in day-to-day operations including evening rotation coverage
• Collaborate with Front Office, CFRO departments, and IT to align commodity flows
• Identify inefficiencies and transform them into robust digital processes

Requirements

• Experience in commodity trading back office or similar operational environment
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar automation tools
• Strong skills in Power BI dashboard development
• Good working knowledge of SQL and/or Python and experience with JSON
• Flexibility to support evening trading operations on rotation
• Must be based in Germany (Essen or Munich)
