What you will do

• Architecting the Future: Design and build scalable core services that serve as the backbone of the hirify.global ecosystem.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Pair-program daily with AI assistants to accelerate development, focusing your energy on high-level logic, security, and system integrity.
• End-to-End Craftsmanship: You’ll own your code quality through Developer-Led Testing (DLT) - from unit tests to E2E.
• AI-Driven Development: Pair-program daily with AI tools (Claude Code/Cursor) to implement features, refactor code, and accelerate development while remaining accountable for the final output's correctness and security.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product, DevOps, and Architecture to turn big ideas into production-ready reality.

Requirements

• The Tech Stack: You are an experienced Backend Engineer in Java (familiarity with Node.js or Python is a plus).
• Full-stack Capability: Familiarity building frontends using modern frameworks and programming languages (TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular or React).
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Architecture and API Design: Ability to design RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and a strong understanding of system design for scalability and observability.
• Modern Tooling: Comfort and willingness to use AI coding assistants and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
