What you will do

• Support and maintain the Dayzer production system ensuring stability and operational reliability
• Manage data transfers between Dayzer and AWS S3 data lake
• Develop data reporting and visualization tools using Python
• Design scalable data pipeline frameworks across environments
• Implement monitoring and logging for pipeline performance and error tracking
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders using Agile methodologies

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York City with hybrid work (at least 4 days onsite/week)
• Visa Sponsorship: Available only for TN and E-2 visas (Canadian, Mexican, French citizens); no H-1B support
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance
• 4+ years of experience in Python development, data engineering, or data analysis
• Experience with large datasets, AWS, and data pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication

Nice to have

• Experience with forecasting models or simulation systems
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Finance or energy domain knowledge
