Salary: $124,000 to $136,500

What you will do

• Review and respond to sensitive content escalations, including child exploitation, graphic violence, and other objectionable content.
• Investigate complex cases to understand how abuse is occurring and attribute it to responsible parties/networks.
• Proactively identify currently undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence, and third-party information.
• Evaluate risks, threats, and user privacy in time-critical situations and execute decision-making.
• Collaborate in responding to sensitive issues, providing knowledge into different exploitative content types.
• Identify effective strategies to prevent or disrupt abuse at scale and work collaboratively with Policy, Product, Engineering and Legal teams.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience investigating crimes against children (intelligence, law enforcement, NGOs, or Trust and Safety teams).
• Knowledge of reporting to NGOs, including prior investigation experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information.
• Previous experience working in a cross-functional, high-pressure, sensitive environment.
• Ability to use risk-based assessments to prioritize workload while meeting specific SLAs.

Nice to have

• Native language skills with a second language (preferably Portuguese).
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Criminology or related field.
• Experience in utilizing SQL, Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
