What you will do

• Investigate high-severity child safety violations and disrupt malicious actors in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct open-source and cross-platform research to contextualize abuse networks.
• Develop detection signals and behavioral heuristics using tools like SQL, Databricks, and Python.
• Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders and support enforcement actions including legal escalations.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve investigative tooling and workflows.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for timely response to safety incidents.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or able to work remotely within the US.
• 5+ years of experience in online child safety and tracking threat actors.
• Proficiency with technical investigations using SQL, Python, and scripting tools.
• Experience handling time-sensitive escalations involving high-risk harm.
• Ability to present analytic findings to senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Comfort with exposure to sensitive and disturbing material related to child exploitation.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional languages besides English.
• Experience scaling and automating processes with language models.
