What you will do

• Build, enhance, and maintain Shopify themes to deliver exceptional UX that drives conversion
• Develop and deploy Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, and custom functionality
• Integrate and support third-party APIs and embedded Shopify admin apps for workflow automation
• Collaborate with e-commerce, marketing, creative, and operations teams to deliver new features
• Manage deployments via GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Shopify CLI
• Mentor junior developers and peer-review code

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of hands-on Shopify Plus development experience
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, GraphQL/REST APIs
• Experience with third-party integrations and Shopify ecosystem management
• Good knowledge of GitHub and modern deployment pipelines
• Security-first mentality and understanding of data protection regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to have

• Experience developing Shopify Functions and UI Extensions
• Building custom Shopify admin apps with React/Remix, App Bridge, Polaris
• Deploying code on Cloudflare Workers and working with MCP servers
• TypeScript experience and formal testing processes
