What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on e-commerce, consumer protection, and privacy issues.
• Support regulatory compliance and cybersecurity projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage legal risks effectively.
• Manage external counsel and conduct legal workshops and trainings.
• Improve internal legal operations and processes to support company growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Amsterdam with hybrid work in the Amsterdam office.
• Master of Law degree and 6+ years of commercial legal experience.
• Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).
• Expertise in contract law and European e-commerce, consumer protection, and privacy laws.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Dutch or other languages.
• Affinity for technology and experience leveraging AI and collaboration tools like Google Suite and Slack.
