What you will do

• Build and maintain billing and payment systems that serve millions of hirify.global users.
• Help detect and mitigate billing abuse, contributing to the signals and tooling that keep our platform safe.
• Work across the stack, from backend services to APIs, and occasionally touch frontend where needed.
• Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and on-call rotations.
• Write clear, maintainable code and help keep our systems well-documented.
• Collaborate with partner teams across hirify.global and Microsoft on shared problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience maintaining production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• OR Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• OR equivalent experience.
• Strong async communication skills

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Ruby and/or Go in a production environment.
• Experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks like React.
• Interest in or exposure to payments, billing systems, fraud detection, or compliance.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Familiarity with or curiosity about AI-assisted development workflows (hirify.global Copilot, LLM-based tooling).
