What you will do

• Architect a dual-engine system, bridging high-density geospatial visualization with a high-frequency editing surface.
• Optimize for latency by implementing partial GPU buffer updates and custom shaders.
• Build the sync engine, leading the development of an offline-first, real-time collaborative editor.
• Develop power-user tools like real-time 3D line-of-sight analysis and AI-driven hardware placement suggestions.
• Work closely with backend teams to optimize binary vector tile delivery and define architectural patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building complex web applications or high-performance graphics engines.
• Mastery of JavaScript fundamentals and React expertise.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of coordinate system conversions, geospatial projections, and 3D geometry.
• An obsessive eye for smooth interactions and the ability to bridge the gap between CAD-level precision and consumer-grade UX.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deck.gl, MapLibre, Three.js, or raw WebGL/WebGPU.
• Experience with real-time sync architectures.
• Proficiency in high-performance 2D/3D graphics.
• Familiarity with PostGIS, vector tiling, and GIS workflows.
