What you will do

• Build high-quality in-game environment art including architecture, materials, props, vistas, and set dressing.
• Own environment assets end-to-end from concept to final in-engine implementation.
• Create architectural kits that are visually cohesive, performant, and flexible for level design.
• Collaborate closely with design, lighting, engineering, and other art disciplines to support gameplay and visual storytelling.
• Balance artistic fidelity with gameplay and technical constraints to enhance player experience.
• Contribute ideas early and operate autonomously in a small, evolving team.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Orange County, United States
• Strong experience in AAA environment art with at least one shipped AAA title.
• Proficiency with Maya or equivalent, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance, and real-time engines.
• Understanding of game development pipelines including optimization, lighting, PBR materials, UVs, and engine constraints.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-disciplinary teams.
• Self-directed with ability to work through ambiguity and take initiative.
