What you will do
- Build and lead the Developer Relations team, hiring and mentoring advocates and technical engagement specialists.
- Drive company-wide Developer Relations strategy to increase adoption of developer tools like CLI, SDKs, SSH, and developer environments.
- Create feedback loops between developer communities and internal Product and Engineering teams to improve offerings.
- Oversee creation of technical content demonstrating security best practices.
- Represent hirify.global in the global developer community as a trusted voice on security, privacy, and authentication.
- Establish metrics to measure DevRel impact on product adoption and community health.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States or Canada with remote work within these countries only.
- 8+ years leading Developer Relations or related community programs, including open source experience.
- 5+ years managing individual contributors and managers.
- Strong technical fluency in modern development workflows (CI/CD, SSH, authentication standards).
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences including executives and legal counsel.
- Passion for community safety and experience managing complex community situations.

- Experience with security-focused developer communities or products (Identity, Auth, DevSecOps).
