What you will do

Work on data engineering projects under guidance.
Procure hardware necessary to complete assigned projects.
Configure and deploy routers and switches using provisioning templates.
Maintain data integrity in data network management tools like SolarWinds and ISE.
Provision and deploy Cisco wireless hardware.
Audit third party WAN circuits to determine opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

Entry-level data engineer typically has or working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
2-3 years’ experience in Cisco router & switch technology.
Configure out of band terminal servers.
Review the accuracy of drawings with as built network.
