What you will do

• Provide second line oversight of issues, actions, and controls monitoring as per Operational Risk Procedures.
• Analyse Operational Risk data such as incidents, external regulation, and risk event scanning to provide insights and identify trends and risks.
• Apply strong data analysis skills to update, maintain, and monitor risk data in Google sheets and Looker to support the team's oversight.
• Support the implementation and operation of hirify.global’s risk management framework by helping to embed oversight and monitoring.
• Support managers in conducting in-depth assurance and change reviews of different business areas through data collection, analysis, and well-written reports.
• Monitor Operational Risk channels to ensure support and guidance is provided to other areas of the business and material risks are escalated to appropriate forums.

Requirements

• You have a risk background, with an appetite to learn.
• You are hands-on and care about the day-to-day details.
• You are comfortable trying to do things you have not done before.
• You are willing to try new things independently and ask for support and guidance when needed.
• You are proficient when working with data, using SQL and/or databases/dashboards like Looker/BigQuery.
• You are interested in reviewing risk assessments and/or control gap assessments in financial or technology environments.
