Location: Remote (US states: WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, VA, CA, NC). Candidates located in Washington state within reasonable driving distance from Tukwila are requested to come into HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Salary: $171,700–$209,800 annually

What you will do

• Design and lead enterprise-grade solutions aligning with technical blueprints and business objectives.
• Architect scalable, modern, cloud-native, secure, and resilient systems.
• Lead complex architecture and integration initiatives across retail branch and contact center domains.
• Establish and evolve domain-specific architectural standards and patterns.
• Drive business-aligned strategy and identify opportunities for member value.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and engineers to enhance their skills.
• Reduce architectural debt by addressing design challenges and resolving issues.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party technology platforms.
• Explore emerging technologies and propose strategic modernization.

Requirements

• Residency in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, VA, CA, or NC is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and implementing technology architectures and managing multiple simultaneous complex technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-native technology including microservice architecture, Restful APIs, massively scalable designs, and digital platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of modern technology service architectural hosting, security, and risk management concerns, including IAM, access control, monitoring, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and containers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks operating in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid hosting environments.
• Deep understanding and experience working within Lean/Agile/Scrum methodologies, including SAFe.
• English: Proficient verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Certification in LEAN, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL principles.
• Working knowledge of architectural frameworks such as The Open Group, NIST, ISO 19xxx, BizBok, or Gartner.
